Ski Jobs in the Bulgarian Ski Resorts

Have you ever thought of working in a ski resort?

There are some fantastic opportunities for working in European ski resorts, our friends daughter is a qualified chef and had a fantastic time in the French Alps last year. A great chance to learn to ski and stay in the ski resort, while being paid to prepare favourite dishes.

The Times Chalet Chef 2010 competition is running this year, with chefs preparing diverse dishes, some with 5, 6 or 7 course menus! Chefs have to careful to make each course the right size, so that guests are not ‘stuffed’ by the time they reach course three! Dishes such as Spaghetti bolognaise, chicken and leak pie, pork marinade in garlic and rosemary and apple strudel are popular.

Some chefs work in husband and wife teams, looking after guests throughout their stay in the ski resorts. After fun on the ‘piste’ good wholesome food is vital as the energy level need replenishing before the evening parties begin.

There are many opportunities for seasonal jobs in mountain ski resorts, ranging from Head Chalet Chef to child care assistant. Technicians are needed for ski service and issue. Chalet assist staff are needed, also ski reps, ski instructors and guides, drivers and maintenance personnel. So if you want to ski and work in the resorts there are many seasonable jobs. Most people are only needed during the ski season from December to April, so jobs are advertised every year, leading to guaranteed vacancies throughout the ski season.
